Hi, My name is Jeff Swanson, Professional Guitar Instructor in Greensboro, NC. I've been a full time guitar instructor and have been teaching private Guitar lessons for over 20 years. I teach beginning to advanced in all ages, and in many different musical styles.
So, a little history... Starting at the
age of 13, I picked up the guitar and never put it down. After many years of lessons and various schooling, I started my teaching career at the early age of 20 in Lakeland, FL. In the early days,
I spent most of my time teaching private guitar lessons, averaging over 50 students a week and doing studio work
on the side when the opportunity presented itself.
I
later took time off from teaching and recording so I could focus on
the next level of my profession which took me all over the Southeast touring
with Florida based band "Gunfighter". Also having the opportunity
of opening for various national acts including; Pantera,
Robin
Trower, and the late Jeff
Healey, etc. while touring.
After touring for a number of years, I relocated back to Greensboro, NC and started teaching again... also releasing an instrumental rock cd entitled "Event Horizon" which has sold several thousand copies around the world and is currently available on iTunes and CDBaby
